Position Summary
PSI is seeking an experienced MA-licensed Journeyman Pipefitter/Foreman to lead field crews and execute piping installations across our project portfolio. This role combines hands-on pipefitting expertise with on-site leadership responsibilities, overseeing crew productivity, quality, and safety on assigned jobs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a crew of pipefitters/installers on assigned job sites.
  • Layout, fabricate, install, and repair piping systems (HVAC, plumbing, process piping, fire protection, refrigeration) per project specifications and code requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments, sequencing, and material needs with the Project Manager.
  • Ensure work complies with Massachusetts state code, OSHA regulations, and PSI safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and job progress documentation.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate with other trades as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

Requirements:
  • Active Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter license (required).
  • Minimum 5+ years of journeyman-level pipefitting experience, with prior foreman or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems installation, welding/brazing, and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 10/30 a plus).
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and crew leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites throughout MA and RI.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Rhode Island reciprocal license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience with industrial process piping and/or fire protection systems.
  • Prior experience managing crew schedules and job-site logistics.
